Now you can pay for PERMITS, WATER BILLS, CONTRACTOR'S REGISTRATION FEES AND MAKE FIREWORKS DONATIONS from the comfort of your home or office by using our online payment service.
Credit cards accepted: MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Visa. A per transaction service fee of 2.65% or $1.50 minimum will be charged by the payment processing company for this service. Please select the CREDIT / DEBIT tab and enter your information.
Electronic Check Payments
The Village of Burlington now accepts electronic check payments using our online payment service. Payments will be charged to your checking or savings account at your bank. You will need your 9-digit routing number, as well as your account number from your personal checks (see example below). A per transaction service fee of $1.50 will be charged by the payment processing company for this service. IMPORTANT: When Payment Options appears, click on the ACH/ECHECK and then continue entering your information.
WATER BILLS: You will be directed to Municipay. You have the option to create an account or pay as a guest. If you do not know your 3-Digit Account Number you can enter any number or call the Village of Burlington at 847-683-2237 and we can look up your account and provide your current balance. We will process your payment to the correct account with the information provided. If we have questions we will contact you.
Please note the option to view your account, past and current statements and payments is currently unavailable at this time. Our billing software company is working on this feature to become available in the future.
FIREWORKS DONATIONS: You will be directed to our secure payment processing site where you can make a donation to the 2025 Fireworks Festivities.
