Building Permits & Applications
CONTRACTORS must register with the Village of Burlington prior to obtaining a permit. CLICK HERE TO CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT. You will be directed to the Community Core website. Upon completion of your application and payment of appropriate fees you will be able to apply for permits through our inspectors at SAFEbuilt. To schedule an inspection or if you require further information, contact SAFEbuilt at 847-510-4104.
After review and payment of fees your registration will be complete and you may apply for permits. Your Contractor's Registration is good for one calendar year. After December 31st of each year you must register again.
HOMEOWNERS who wish to complete their own projects must submit an application prior to obtaining a permit. CLICK HERE TO CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT.
